Not everyone stuck through the 29-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

Syracuse starter Kevin Froehle clamped down on the Prince George offense, while his team sailed to victory, 13-2. Now 0-22, the 2064 Cougars have sputtered in the early going.

Danny Ledesma went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for Syracuse. The 19-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Melvin Basulto. It was his 12th walk of the season.

Prince George manager Sergio Martínez called the blowout loss "not what we had in mind."
