Joe Schuster impressed in the 8-5 Cabo San Lucas win over Buffalo. Schuster, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2062 draft, went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The Toreros raised their record to 76-74.
In the bottom of the third, Bryan Bircher delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Cabo San Lucas center fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Toreros in front, 8-5.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Schuster.
