Slice Reel Off Another Win
Though he had a stellar game, Nelson Cruzlopez could not prevent his team, the Bighorn Bison, from losing, 7-6, to the Manhattan Slice. Cruzlopez was 2-2 with a home run, while scoring 2. The Slice have now won 6 straight.

Manhattan right fielder David Stradtner helped the Slice go up, 7-6, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Stradtner hit a run-scoring single off Bighorn pitcher Alex Funez.

"I feel like we're rolling now," Stradtner told the Manhattan Times."The dugout is coming alive."
