San Francisco third baseman Dusty Salstrom picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Buffalo Bison, 12-11. The Earthquakes have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Gil Delk came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Buffalo pitcher Bobby Milleville, he hit a 0-1 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting San Francisco on top, 12-11.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said San Francisco manager Bill DesMarais.
