Bloomington and Buffalo duked it out and the Blazers came out victorious.
Jay Vincent, who finished 2nd in the TML in innings pitched with 218.0 in 2061, was terrific for the Bloomington Blazers in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Buffalo Bison. His performance earned Vincent rave reviews. Erik McKnight was called on to finish, recording his 18th save.
Ritchie Turco had a direct impact on the outcome. Turco contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Bloomington up, 3-1.
Turco called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
The 'W' lifts Bloomington's record to 39-37.
