Toreros Get Past San Francisco, 4-3
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Cabo San Lucas Toreros and San Francisco Earthquakes.

Alejandro Castro, who finished 5th in the TML in innings pitched with 237.1 in 2055, propelled his team to victory over the San Francisco Earthquakes. The final score was 4-3, Cabo San Lucas. Cabo San Lucas reliever Edwin Mireles snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Josh Christie shouldered the loss. Jimmy Sherry recorded his 43rd save for Cabo San Lucas.

Pat Bean, the first overall pick in the 2061 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Bean contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Cabo San Lucas up, 4-3.

"I'm happy we won," said Castro. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."

The Toreros saw their win-loss record go to 78-77. At the same time, the Earthquakes fell to 78-77.
