A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Thunder Bay Lighting and Prince George Cougars.

The Thunder Bay Lighting beat the Prince George Cougars by a score of 21-4. Thunder Bay center fielder Ramon Ortega deserved the lion's share of the credit. Ortega was 4 for 5 with a double, 3 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 and driving in 2 for the Lighting. To call the performance of the 2064 Cougars disappointing is an understatement.

Thunder Bay used the clutch hitting of Tony Delgado to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Lighting the lead, 4-2. For the game, Delgado had 3 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
