The Hawaii Honu used a great performance from fan favorite Danny Barajas to beat the Walnut Creek Warriors, 3-1, at Aloha Stadium. The winner was Barajas. He threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Matt White. The Honu are now 82-74, while the Warriors fall to 89-67.

Ramon Torres, who finished 4th in the RCL in triples with 9 in 2054, helped out the Hawaii cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.

Torres said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
