Honu right fielder Carlos Nieto left his imprint on his team's 10-3 win over the Bighorn Bison. Nieto went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Hawaii in the contest. By defeating Bighorn, the third-place Honu improved to 84-75.

Austin Thompson went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Hawaii. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Bryan Cicerchia. It was his 34th RBI of the season.

"Enjoyed this one," Nieto told the Hawaii Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
