Bison Win with Late Rally
The Bighorn Bison overcame a good performance by Eagle Rock designated hitter C.J. Parrish to knock off Eagle Rock, 5-4, in 12 innings at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Parrish went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner in relief was Nick Merritt. He is now 3-5. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. Bighorn is last in the Thurman Munson League West Division with a record of 40-48.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Riley Andrus came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Eagle Rock pitcher Scott Eiken, he hit a 1-1 slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Bighorn on top, 3-2.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Bighorn field general Carlos Esparza.
