The Cabo San Lucas Toreros got a sterling performance from first baseman Chance Reber, but the Manhattan Slice still prevailed, 6-3. Reber was 2 for 2 with a home run. Tom Simmons earned the win for Manhattan. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 6-14. Paul Blevins recorded his 19th save for Manhattan.

Ashton Dillon had a big 2-run home run for the Slice in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Manhattan leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a curveball from Kirk Hojnacki, who finished 4th in the TML in ERA with 3.70 in 2059, and punished it. The result was his 20th home run of the season, which put the Slice on top, 4-1.

"No complaints from me," said Slice manager Giampaolo Marcovicci. "I like what I saw out there."

At 62-97, the Slice claim last place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
