Toreros Rally to Nose Past Montreal

Starting pitcher Dan Brown fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Cabo San Lucas Toreros stymie the Montreal Mounties, 3-2. James Magee was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-3. The losing pitcher was Mike Gorske. Cabo San Lucas sits in 6th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 69-91.
Dan Walker came through with a big-time hit for Cabo San Lucas. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Dan gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Cabo San Lucas skipper Labib Sarahani.
