Chicago catcher Brad Davidson had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Hawaii Honu, 9-7. The win puts the Eclipse at 50-38, while the Honu drop to 46-43.

Art Long took Hawaii hurler Alex Didkowsky deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Eclipse on top, 8-7. In all, Long had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

Chicago manager Demetrio Recchia was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
