Floundering Larvae Lose 7th Straight
Robert Clavijo pitched a gem to lead Oconto Falls to victory over the The Stinging Larvae, 2-1. Danny Soto, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings. The third-place Larvae have dropped 7 straight games.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 19-year old right fielder Eddie Mariscal had a chance to be the hero. The Stinging pitcher Alex Quevedo wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Mariscal got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. The Timbers had themselves a thrilling win.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Clavijo said, postgame.
