Oconto Falls Gets 3-2 Win Versus Coronado in 13
The Oconto Falls Timbers picked up a win at The Cove, dropping the Coronado Islanders, 3-2, in 13 innings. Cesar Garcia, who is tied for 4th in the TR with a 13.7 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The 4th-place Timbers sport a record of 19-16.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 13th, 18-year old catcher Victor Vasquez had a chance to be the hero. Coronado pitcher Melvin Riojas wanted to foil that plan. But with no outs, Vasquez got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. The Timbers had themselves a thrilling win.

"Cesar was outstanding," said Oconto Falls manager Jian-guo Yang.
