The Buffalo Bison withstood a fine game by Chicago second baseman Eli Neff at Millennium Field, to upend the Eclipse, 8-6. Neff hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Buffalo, at 84-78, sits in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Tim Ervin Division.

Cliff Millar went 1 for 4 with a walk for Buffalo. The two-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Henry Henshaw. It was his 98th walk of the season.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Millar said.
