The Paradise Island Pirates weathered a fine game by Sedona designated hitter Takuzo Matsumoto to upend the Sabercats, 9-8, at The Lair at Sabercat Field. Matsumoto was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Angel Candelaria. He's now 6-1.
