Pendleton goes 4-for-4 as Orange Sox Squash Caterpillars
The Easton Caterpillars inaugurated the 2063 campaign with a disappointing 17-2 loss to the Syracuse Orange Sox at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker. Syracuse first baseman Trevor Pendleton had a big impact on the outcome. He went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4.

Pendleton had a key at-bat in the top of the first to put Syracuse in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Easton pitcher Steve Gilligan.

Of the opposition, Easton manager Mekonnen Asani said: "They hit fastballs, they hit breaking balls, they hit inside fastballs, they hit outside fastballs."
