Scottsdale Gets 6-3 Win Against Commies
The Scottsdale Scorpions started the 2062 season win an impressive 6-3 win against the Caribbean Commies at Scottsdale Stadium. Horst de Zwaan led the way for Scottsdale.

Omar Ruiz had a big grand slam home run for the Scorpions in the bottom of the third inning. With Scottsdale leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Francisco Castillo and swatted a home run to left. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scorpions ahead, 6-1.

"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Ruiz.
