Slumping Commies Lose Again
The Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas defeated the Caribbean Commies, 11-4, at Scripps Field. Pedro Reyes produced 3 singles and 1 double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 1. The losses continue to pile up for Caribbean, which has now fallen 27 times in a row.

Jesus Ahumada had a big run-scoring double for the Fighting Iguanas in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Boca Raton leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a slider from 20-year old left-handed pitcher Kyung-chor Lim and swatted a double to left. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fighting Iguanas ahead, 3-1.

"We're going through a bad spell," said Caribbean manager .
