Milwaukee's Jamie Linn entered the record books today as he collected hit number 2000 at The Mandalore Complex.

"I am proud of this. Not too many players reach this level. You have to be around quite a few years and you have to get a lot of hits," Linn said after the game.

On his milestone day he went 1 for 4 as the Millers won 5-4 over the Havana Stogies.

For his career, Linn has hit at a .275 clip. Among his lifetime numbers are 2000 hits, 407 doubles, 61 triples, 27 home runs and 595 RBIs.
