Alarcon hits 2 home runs in Carrollton Win
The 8-5 Carrollton win over Caribbean was due in large part to Manny Alarcon. The Rangers first baseman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Ricky Marquez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3.2 innings. His record is now 5-3. Carrollton raised its record to 25-17 with the win.

Alarcon contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Carrollton in the top of the ninth. With his team trailing 5-4, Alarcon took a changeup from Elias Lopez and stroked the home run to left. His 10th home run of the season allowed the Rangers to leap in front, 7-5.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Alarcon told the Carrollton Bulletin.
