Sabercats Get One-Run Win at The Stinging
|
The 9-8 Sedona win over The Stinging was due in large part to Josue Flores. The Sabercats left fielder was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Sedona bumps their record to 12-32 with the win.
In the top of the seventh, the Sabercats grabbed the lead when Flores hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off David Herrera made it 8-7, Sedona.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said The Stinging manager Jose Correa. "But we decided not to take it."
