Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at The Cove.

The Oconto Falls Timbers bested the Sedona Sabercats, 11-1, at The Cove. Daniel Garcia was one of the standouts. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Carlos Rotiz got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 1. Ken Fowler earned the save for Oconto Falls, his 2nd.

With Oconto Falls leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Garcia hit a sinker from Tony Ramirez for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Timbers ahead, 5-0.

"Whatever it takes to win," said Garcia. "That's our attitude."

The win for the Timbers raised their record to 26-18.
