Rangers Use Late Rally to Win 20th Straight
The Rockville Rangers licked the Carrollton Rangers, 7-3. Danny Sanchez deserved a big chunk of the credit. The center fielder was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Rangers. The winner in relief was Mario Tavarez. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. He now owns a record of 2-0. Rockville is sitting pretty at 40-6.

Sanchez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 slider from Ricky Marquez, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Rangers a 7-3 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Sanchez.

"This team's hitting on all cylinders," said Rangers manager Bill Gallagher.
