The Barbados Revenge did just enough to sneak past the Syracuse Orange Sox, 4-3, at Syracuse Fields. Barbados pitcher Alfred Engels, in particular, had a standout performance. Engels got the win, improving to 4-3. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. He allowed 1 run. Bobby Gonzalez recorded the save for Barbados, his 7th of the season.

Hugo Mendoza, who is tied for 9th in the RR in stolen bases with 4, had a direct impact on the outcome. Mendoza contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Barbados up, 3-1.
