Rangers Tear Continues with 8-5 Triumph
The 8-5 Rockville win over Frobisher Bay was due largely to Don Blatchford. The Rangers left fielder went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Momosuke Egawa recorded the save for Rockville, his 5th of the season. Rockville, now 42-6, has won 22 straight games.

Alejandro Quiroz, who is tied for 4th in the RR in stolen bases with 5, aided the Rockville cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 3 times.
