Sabercats Get Past The Stinging for 10-9 Win
In a high-scoring game between Sedona and The Stinging, left fielder Oscar Mejia was a difference-maker. The 19-year-old helped Sedona grab the 10-9 win. He was 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. Sedona reliever Steve Lewis snagged the win, upping his record to 3-3. Alfredo Sandoval shouldered the loss. At 11-36, Sedona is in last place in the TML R Fred McGriff Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Antonio Hermosillo in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Alfredo Sandoval to win the game for Sedona. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Hermosillo said.
