The Manchester Mooses had to overcome a big game from Thunder Bay right fielder Kenko Yano to leave Moose Head Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-5. Yano went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win hiked the Manchester record to 27-24.

Carlos Tovar delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth to win it for the Mooses. For the game, Tovar drove in one run.

"Exhilarating win," said Tovar.
