Sabercats Winners, 1-0, at Moose Head Stadium
Susumu Nekotani never let Manchester get something going. The Sedona left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Sabercats to a 1-0 win. Nekotani, the winner, moves to 1-3. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 4 walks. David Salguero closed out the game, earning his 6th save.

Sedona used the hitting of Oscar Mejia to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Sabercats on top, 1-0. For the game, Mejia had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We did just enough to win," Mejia said.
