Danny Sanchez impressed in the 8-6 Rockville win over Montreal. Sanchez, who is tied for 2nd in the RR in hits with 85, went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Rockville pitcher Mario Tavarez got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Roberto Barreda got the loss. With the win over Montreal, the Rangers improved to 49-8.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Sanchez delivered big-time for Rockville, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Cory Rumley. The game-changing hit put the Rangers on top, 7-6.

"We're trying to go out there and win games," Sanchez told the Rockville Gazette, "and we played pretty well tonight."
