The exploits of catcher Bobby Solano helped the Rockville Rangers defeat the Easton Caterpillars, 10-0. Solano was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Rockville reliever Miguel Garcia picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jordan Cortez was saddled with the loss. Yes, it was a win for Rockville; but their 10-20 mark is nothing to crow about.

With Rockville leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Solano hit a slider from Jordan Cortez for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 4-0.

Easton manager Mekonnen Asani called the blowout loss "not what we had in mind."
