Warriors Collect 8-5 Win Over Moonshiners
The Walnut Creek Warriors defeated the Asheville Moonshiners, 8-5, in 10 innings. Chris DeMoss led the way, going 2-for-5 for Walnut Creek. Walnut Creek is now 44-35.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until DeMoss delivered big-time for Walnut Creek, stroking a dramatic run-scoring double off Jimmy LaPointe. The game-changing hit put the Warriors on top, 6-5.

DeMoss told a Walnut Creek Observer reporter that he felt "ecstatic" after the win.
