Peaches Get Past Barbados, 4-3

The Peaches kept their hot streak going.
The Savannah Peaches faced a tough opponent in Barbados pitcher Cesar Ruiz, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Drunken Wench Stadium by a final score of 4-3. Ruiz went 7.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Hideto Miyamoto earned the save for Savannah, his 4th of the year.
Savannah needed the clutch hitting of Mario Aleman to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Peaches on top, 4-3. For the game, Aleman had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We'll keep riding this wave," said Aleman.
The 45-14 Peaches have won 10 games in a row.
