No matter what the Carrollton Rangers threw at him, Bill Barrera hit it. He easily handled Rangers pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Larvae triumph, 11-8, at Rangers Field.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Barrera's quip, Rangers skipper Hung-chang Chao said he "would take him up on that next time."

Bill Barrera singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.

This year, Barrera is batting .362 with 3 home runs and 13 RBIs. In 29 games he has scored 18 times.
