The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners picked up a win at Metroplex Park, downing the Dallas Texans, 8-3. On the mound for Eagle Rock was right-hander Willie Borrero, who played a pivotal role in the win. Borrero, who is tied for 5th in the RCL with a 8.0 K/9 rate, went the distance for Eagle Rock. He gave up 3 runs on 10 hits. The Ridge Runners win now puts them at 45-47.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Carl Farley? The Eagle Rock designated hitter had a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Ridge Runners on top, 5-3. For the game, Farley had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
