Bradford Slugs Hornets to 12-10 Win
The Eureka Hornets outscored the Chicago Eclipse, 12-10. Mark Bradford led the way, going 3-for-5 for Eureka. Nimulodi Bausi picked up the win in relief for Eureka, while Dan Lenart took the loss. Matt Acrey closed the door for Eureka, picking up his 24th save of the year.

With Eureka leading 9-6 in the bottom of the fifth, Bradford hit a fastball from Jared Simms for a 3-run home run. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Hornets ahead, 12-6.

Chicago manager Demetrio Recchia said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score that many runs, you expect to win the game."

The first-place Hornets sport a record of 58-33.
