The Huntington Station Ramrods defeated the Houghton Gremlins, 5-3, in part because of shortstop Kenny Krautter. Krautter was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs for the Ramrods. Ben Benson notched his 15th save of the season. Huntington Station currently is in last place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division at 30-48.

The Ramrods got a big at-bat from third baseman Michio Matsumoto. For the game, Matsumoto was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season gave Huntington Station a 1-0 lead.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Krautter.
