The Victoria Totems topped the Manchester Mooses, 8-2, with catcher Yasugi Oshita playing a big role. Oshita was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Totems in the win. Victoria, at 44-20, holds down second place in the TML R Fred McGriff Division.

Victoria used a well-timed hit by Jordan Colmenero to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Totems ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It was a good win," said Victoria manager Senta Nakano. "Not without blemish, but good."
