Grognards Jolt Seawolves with Late Rally
The St. Paul Grognards picked up a win at The Thunderdome, knocking off the Erie Seawolves, 2-1. Starting pitcher Nate Hallum, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The winner was St. Paul reliever Lorenzo Ramirez, now 2-0. The loser was Jose Correa. This win makes it 5 in a row for St. Paul.

Lorenzo Bautista found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the ninth. Facing Erie hurler David Gutierrez, the 20-year-old pinch hitter hit a walk-off run-scoring single. His 17th hit of the season put the Grognards on top, 2-1.

"Put a star next to this win," Hallum said.
