Totems Post 6-3 Win Over Caribbean
Starting pitcher Vaughan Wellon pitched well enough to help the Victoria Totems beat the Caribbean Commies, 6-3. The save went to Aaron Philbrick, his 2nd this season. Victoria is now 45-22. Caribbean is 21-47.

It could have been a different outcome for Victoria, had it not been for Luis Morales, the 21-year old second baseman . Morales contributed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put Victoria up, 1-0.

"Good team win," Morales said. "I love it when a plan comes together."
