Davis Batstone made an impact in the 7-4 Manchester win over Key West. Batstone was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the win, Manchester goes to 25-21, while the Thunder fall to 24-22.

The Mooses got a big hit from shortstop Ricky Wittwer. Facing Key West pitcher Angel Bonilla in the bottom of the fifth, Wittwer pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season put the Mooses ahead, 6-2.

"Whenever I help the team," said Wittwer, "it sort of justifies my place on the roster."
