Brooklyn Cyclones pitcher Jorge Torres whisked his team past the Victoria Totems, 6-2. Brooklyn reliever Mario Romero picked up the win to move to 3-2. Aaron Philbrick suffered the loss. With the win, the Cyclones hiked their record to 38-31.

It could have been a different outcome for Brooklyn, had it not been for Sandy Santos, the 19-year old left fielder . Santos contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Brooklyn up, 5-2.

"Pleased with the effort and the win," said Cyclones manager Jerry Cruz.
