Multi-HR Game for Cavanaugh in 12-7 Win
The Hawaii Honu beat the Manhattan Slice, 12-7, at Aloha Stadium. The win was due in part to catcher Paul Cavanaugh, who hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Hawaii reliever Yun-fat Liang picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Adam Nikodem absorbed the loss. The Honu, at 42-38, sit in third place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

With Hawaii trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the third, Cavanaugh hit a cutter from Adam Nikodem for a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Honu ahead, 7-4.

"Glad to get this win," said Cavanaugh. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
