Wichita Beats Barbados in 11-Inning Thriller
The Wichita Storm beat the Barbados Revenge, 11-10, in 11 innings at The Drunken Wench Stadium. Wichita shortstop Martin Freitas led the way. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Miguel Ambriz collected his 1st save. Despite the win, the Storm have a lousy 8-63 record.

Wichita needed the clutch hitting of Guillermo Cedano to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Storm on top, 11-10. For the game, Cedano had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.
