Grijalva Excels, Victoria Blows Out Brooklyn
Pablo Grijalva powered the Victoria Totems to a win over the Brooklyn Cyclones. The final score was 13-3. The Victoria first baseman, who is tied for 8th in the TR in triples with 3, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Bernard Leroy got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 5. At 47-24, the Totems are currently second in the TML R Fred McGriff Division.

With Victoria leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Grijalva hit a fastball from Jose Acuna for a run-scoring double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Totems ahead, 2-0.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Victoria skipper Senta Nakano.
