Mooses Topple Miners, 3-2

The Manchester Mooses had to overcome a good performance from Sylva pitcher Alberto Gil to claim a 3-2 win at Moose Head Stadium. Gil went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. The Mooses raised their record to 29-26.
The Mooses got a big at-bat from third baseman Bob Prowse. For the game, Prowse went 1-2 with a double, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season gave Manchester a 3-2 lead.
"It was a solid team effort," said Prowse after the game.
