In a tight tilt between the The Stinging Larvae and the Frobisher Bay Caribou, Alex Quevedo was the deciding factor. The The Stinging right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The Stinging is 5th in the TML R Otto Velez Division with a record of 22-52.
The Stinging took a 3-2 lead on Dave Field's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Field hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Frobisher Bay pitcher Paul Fisher visibly frustrated.
