The Jacksonville Pilots handed the Buffalo Bison a loss at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. The final score was 13-6. John Popper was one of the major contributors for Jacksonville. Jacksonville used the clutch hitting of Chris Ingram to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Pilots ahead, 8-3. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Popper told the Jacksonville Herald. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
