Cougars Suffer 7-4 Setback
The Syracuse Orange Sox defeated the Prince George Cougars, 7-4, at Syracuse Fields. Leading the charge for Syracuse was shortstop Aaron Vandermolen. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times. Raul Luna finished to wrap up his 1st save. With the win over Prince George, the Orange Sox improved to 41-20.

Syracuse third baseman Dennis Black contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 61st hit of the season and put the Orange Sox ahead, 7-4.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Black told the Syracuse News.
