The Brooklyn Cyclones pinned a convincing loss on the Savannah Peaches, 10-2, at The Lava Flow. Alex Castillo was a main factor in the win. He was 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 for Brooklyn. Today's win puts Brooklyn at 43-35, while Savannah falls to 54-23.

The Cyclones benefited from an error in the bottom of the second inning. Brooklyn was leading 1-0 when Hector Barrios hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Brooklyn in front, 3-0.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager David Flecha.
